Coming up with one YouTube Short idea is pretty easy.
Coming up with 30 original Shorts, each with its own title, hook, concept, and call to action? That can turn into a whole project by itself.
After creating hundreds of videos, this is one of those creator problems I know very well. I can usually think of something to record today, but batching an entire month means brainstorming, organizing everything, turning those ideas into an actual schedule, and then figuring out how to present it in a way I can easily use later.
So I decided to test a different workflow.
I used ChatGPT and Gamma together to see if I could go from absolutely no content calendar to a complete 30-day YouTube Shorts plan—and then turn that plan into a polished visual presentation without manually copying everything from one platform to another.

Watch Me Build a 30-Day Content Plan With Gamma
Watch the full video:
In the video above, I take you through the process from beginning to end.
Instead of creating a presentation just to show off Gamma, I wanted to use it for something I actually needed for Inside Your Hustle.
My goal was simple:
Create 30 days of original Shorts ideas and organize everything into something I could actually use.
What Are Gamma Connectors?
Gamma’s connectors are designed to help turn the work you’re already doing inside AI tools into something more structured and visual.
Instead of doing this:
ChatGPT → Copy → Open another program → Paste → Reorganize → Redesign
I could continue working from my conversation and use Gamma to turn that information into something visual and presentable.
Gamma supports connections with tools including ChatGPT and Claude.
For this experiment, I used ChatGPT because it was already where I was doing my content planning.
Step 1: I Connected Gamma to ChatGPT
The first thing I had to do was connect Gamma to ChatGPT.
Once Gamma was available, I didn’t have to treat ChatGPT and Gamma like two completely separate parts of my project.
That’s important because one of my biggest problems with AI workflows isn’t necessarily generating the information.
It’s figuring out what to do with all of that information afterward.
I might have an amazing brainstorming session sitting inside a ChatGPT conversation, but then I still have to organize it somewhere useful.
That can mean moving everything into a document, spreadsheet, presentation, or content calendar.
The Gamma connector gave me a much easier way to bridge those two parts of the workflow.
Step 2: I Asked ChatGPT for 30 Days of YouTube Shorts
I didn’t want ChatGPT to give me a basic list of random topics.
I wanted each idea to contain enough information that I could actually sit down and start creating the video.
So I asked ChatGPT to create a 30-day YouTube Shorts strategy with:
- A video title
- An opening hook
- The main idea
- A call to action
- Weekly organization
I also asked it to focus on topics that fit Inside Your Hustle, including AI tools, creator tools, and practical side hustles.
That made the results much more useful than simply asking for 30 video titles.
When it was time to record, I wouldn’t have to start from a completely blank page.
Step 3: I Turned the ChatGPT Response Into a Gamma
This is the part of the workflow that interested me the most.
ChatGPT had already done the brainstorming and organization.
Normally, I would now have one very long response sitting inside my conversation.
Useful?
Absolutely.
But scrolling through one giant AI response every time I wanted to decide what to record isn’t exactly my idea of an organized content calendar.
Instead, I used Gamma to turn the information into a visual presentation.
And suddenly my huge ChatGPT response looked more like something I could actually work from.
I could review the plan week by week and quickly see:
Title → Hook → Main Idea → CTA
That makes it easier to choose what I want to film, plan recording days, expand an idea into a script, or share the calendar with someone helping me with my content.
And You Can Keep Changing It
The first Gamma doesn’t have to be the final version.
Maybe I look through the plan and decide I want more beginner-friendly ideas.
I can go back into ChatGPT and ask for them.
Maybe I want:
- More free AI tools
- More fun side hustles
- Stronger hooks
- More beginner-friendly videos
- More creator tools
- Different calls to action
- An entirely new month of ideas
I can continue developing everything in the conversation and then turn the updated information into another Gamma.
That’s one of my favorite things about this workflow.

My ideas don’t have to stay buried inside a chat.
Gamma Isn’t Just for YouTube Content Calendars
I created a YouTube Shorts calendar because it was something I could immediately use.
But there are plenty of other ways this workflow could be applied.
You could use ChatGPT or Claude with Gamma to help create:
- Marketing plans
- Campaign launch plans
- Client presentations
- Sales decks
- Portfolios
- Product roadmaps
- Social media strategies
- Team presentations
- Business proposals
- Project plans
The AI tool helps you develop and organize the idea.
Gamma helps you turn that information into something visual and easier for other people to understand.
Could This Actually Save Creators Time?
For me, the biggest potential time saver isn’t necessarily generating the ideas.
ChatGPT could already give me 30 ideas.
The interesting part is reducing some of the work that happens after the brainstorming.
I didn’t want another AI workflow that simply gave me more text.
I wanted to see if I could turn that text into something I could actually use.
By the end of the experiment, I had gone from having no monthly content plan to having 30 organized video ideas and a polished visual calendar.
And I didn’t have to manually copy and rebuild everything in another platform.
My Takeaway After Trying Gamma With ChatGPT
I think Gamma’s connectors make the most sense if you’re already using ChatGPT or Claude to brainstorm, plan, research, or organize your work.
If you’ve ever had a really useful AI conversation only for all those ideas to stay trapped inside the chat window, this gives you another option.
For me, that meant turning one conversation into an entire 30-day YouTube Shorts content strategy.
For you, it might be a marketing plan, a presentation, a portfolio, a client pitch, or something completely different.
The important part is that the conversation doesn’t have to be where the project ends.

Try Gamma
If you already use ChatGPT or Claude for your ideas and planning, try connecting Gamma and see what you can turn one of those conversations into.
I would recommend starting with a real project instead of making something just to test the technology.
Ask yourself:
What am I already creating inside ChatGPT that I normally have to organize somewhere else afterward?
Then see if Gamma can help you turn it into something visual and useful.
And if you’re a content creator, try my experiment.
Give ChatGPT the job of planning your next month of content and see what happens when you turn the finished strategy into a Gamma.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Gamma?
Gamma is a platform that can turn ideas and information into polished visual content, including presentations and other shareable materials.
Can Gamma connect with ChatGPT?
Yes. That’s the workflow I demonstrate in my video. I used ChatGPT to build my content strategy and Gamma to turn the finished information into a visual presentation.
Does Gamma work with Claude too?
Yes. Gamma’s connectors also support Claude. I focused on ChatGPT in my experiment because that’s already part of the way I plan my content.
What did I create with Gamma?
I created a visual 30-day YouTube Shorts content calendar containing video titles, hooks, main ideas, and calls to action.
Do I have to use Gamma for presentations?
No. While presentations are one use case, the workflow can also be useful for things like content strategies, campaign plans, portfolios, sales decks, marketing plans, product roadmaps, and client materials.
Can Gamma or ChatGPT guarantee that my content will get views?
No. AI can make brainstorming and organization easier, but it can’t guarantee views or income. Your results will still depend on your content quality, execution, consistency, audience interest, and the platforms you’re using.
